Mission Maker Third Class | Awarded to Troopers that have worked on a series of missions that were used in an Operation. | |

Mission Maker Second Class | Awarded to Troopers that have worked on the creation of a second Operation. | |

Mission Maker First Class | Awarded to Troopers that have worked on the creation of a third Operation. | |
|
RRO Excellence Award | Awarded to troopers that have shown an excellent level of dedication and have worked tirelessly in RRO to raise the standard of the unit. | |

Recruiter | Awarded to Troopers that recruit three new sign-ups who go on to pass Phase 2. | |
|
Long Service Award | Awarded to Troopers that have been a member with the 16AA for more than two years proper and has proven to be a valuable addition to the unit. | |

CIC Phase 1 | Awarded on the successful completion of the initial Phase 1 training. | |

CIC Phase 2 | Awarded on the successful completion of advanced Phase 2 training. The course develops basic soldering skills into more complex infantry tactics. | |

Basic Anti-Tank | Awarded on the successful completion of the Basic Anti Tank Course. Trains the soldier in the operation of the LASM, AT4 and NLAW. | |
|
Machine Gunner | Awarded on the successful completion of the GPMG Operators Course. Trains the soldier in the operation of the General Purpose Machine Gun at section level. | |
|
Navigation | Awarded on the successful completion of the Navigation Course. Trains the individual in map reading and navigational tools. | |
|
Sharpshooter | Awarded on the successful completion of the L129A1 Sharpshooter Course. Trains the soldier in a higher level of marksmanship with the L129A1 Section Marksman rifle. | |

Basic Signaller | Awarded on the successful completion of the Basic Signals Course. Gives the soldier an insight into communications and procedure. | |

Advanced Signaller | Awarded on the successful completion of the Advanced Signals Course. Gives the soldier a high understanding of all communications systems and procedures at battlegroup level. | |

Combat Team Medic | Awarded on the successful completion of the CTM Course. Gives the individual - knowledge of basic triage and care under fire. | |

Combat Medical Technician | Awarded on the successful completion of the CMT Course. Gives the individual - knowledge in advanced treatment and medication. | |

Mortar Operator | Awarded on the successful completion of the Mortar Operator Course. Trains the individual in the operation of 60mm and 81mm Mortars. | |

Mortar Line Commander | Awarded on the successful completion of the MLC Course. Trains the individual in the command and control of the mortar line whilst firing. | |
|
Sniper | Awarded on the successful completion of the Sniper Cadre. Trains the soldier in advanced marksmanship, concealment and operation of the L115A3 Sniper Rifle. | |
|
Advanced Anti-Tank | Awarded for having passed the Advanced Anti-Tank Course. This trains the soldier in the operation of the Javelin and Starstreak weapon systems. | |
|
Heavy Weapons Operator | Awarded on the successful completion of the Heavy Weapons Operator Course. Trains the soldier in the use of heavy platoon support weapons like the HMG and GMG. | |
|
Forward Observer | Awarded on the successful completion of the Forward Observer Course. Trains the soldier in requesting and adjusting mortar and artillery fire. | |
|
JTAC | Awarded on the successful completion of the Joint Terminal Attack Control Course. Trains the soldier in the request and coordination of fixed and rotary wing attack aircraft. | |
|
Paratrooper | Awarded on the successful completion of the Third static line Parachute Combat Drop. | |
|
Freefaller | Awarded on the successful completion of the Military Freefall Course. Trains the trooper in free fall descents by both day and night in the HAHO and HALO technique. | |
|
Parachute Jump Instructor | Awarded on the successful completion of 15 parachute descents on operations or the MFF Course as an ITC Instructor. The trooper now has reasonable parachuting experience to deliver instruction. | |
|
Junior Pilot | Awarded on the successful completion of the Basic Flight Qualification. Trains the pilot in basic rotary and fixed wing flight skills. | |
|
Senior Pilot | Awarded on the successful completion of the Advanced Flight Qualification. Trains the pilot in advanced flight on both fixed wing and rotary wing and can assume Pilot In Command duties. | |
|
FTCC | Awarded on the successful completion of the Fire Team Commanders Course. Gives the upcoming commander a base knowledge in the command of a fireteam. | |
|
SCBC | Awarded on the successful completion of the Section Commanders Battle Course. Gives the basic commander the skills to lead their own section in battle. | |
|
PSBC | Awarded on the successful completion of the Platoon Sergeants Battle Course. Gives the junior commander an introduction into the command of a full rifle platoon. | |

PCBC | Awarded on the successful completion of the Platoon Commanders Battle Course. Gives the senior commander the necessary skills and knowledge to lead their own platoon. | |

Pathfinder | Awarded on the successful completion of the Pathfinder Cadre. Trains the trooper in advanced force reconnaissance and DZ marking. | |
